This policy summarizes what Awtter stores and why.

We process account email, project metadata, manuscript text, generated artifacts, billing identifiers, usage counts, and basic audit records needed to run the service.
Payment card details are handled by Stripe. Awtter stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not full card numbers.
Manuscript handling
Manuscript text is used to create previews, run content-policy checks, generate cleanup notes, and build your export files.
If a manuscript is policy-blocked, Awtter clears the submitted manuscript text and keeps only minimal project metadata needed for abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and account support.
Storage and access
Generated files are stored in private project-owned storage protected by Supabase Auth, row-level security, and private Storage policies.
Support access to customer data is limited to troubleshooting, billing support, security, and policy enforcement.
Retention
Projects and artifacts remain available while your account is active unless you delete a project from Projects or request account-level removal through support.
Operational logs and billing records may be retained as needed for security, accounting, compliance, and dispute handling.
